The Nationwide Arena is in downtown Columbus and features all kinds of sports.

 

 

The Schottenstein Center is located next to The Ohio State University Campus and features various entertainment events including major music concerts.

 

 

The Columbus Zoo is located on the northwest side of Columbus

 

 

The Short North is an historic, eclectic, diverse, urban neighborhood which is the Art District of Columbus.  A Gallery Hop is held the first Saturday of the month.

If you like science, then go to COSI in downtown Columbus.
It's brand new and has the latest ideas for family and
kid's fun in science.

 

 

 

For a good drink and some nice restaurants go to the Brewery District near German Village just a few blocks south of downtown Columbus. 

 

 

For a historic view of Columbus take a drive through beautiful German Village.  You'll see brick streets, German architecture, and restaurants serving refreshments the way you would have been served back in the old country.  Many of the homes and businesses have been restored to museum- like quality.  This is a must see for visitors to Columbus.  

 

 

Port Columbus International Airport is an international airport and has shuttles available for most hotels in the area.  It is located about 10 minutes away from the Hilton Columbus where the Surgical Pathology Update Course is held.  There is a shuttle from the airport to the Hilton for your convenience.    

   

   

For an upscale shopping experience try the Tuttle Mall in Dublin where there are a number of stores including Macy's, Banana Republic, Brookstone, and Victoria's Secret.  

  

  

    

 

 

 

  

    

Polaris Fashion Place is central Ohio's premier shopping destination located on the north side of Columbus.  There are six anchor stores that include Saks, Fifth Avenue, Von Maur, Macy's, Sear's, JCPenney, and The Great Indoors.   
 

Easton Town Center offers a wide variety of shopping, dining, and entertainment venues located on the east side of Columbus.

 

 

For concerts there is the Germain Amphitheater located just north of Columbus in the Polaris Parkway.
