The Division of Pulmonary Pathology underwent a change in leadership this year. The Division has two faculty members, Dr. Charles L. Hitchcock (Interim Director) and Dr. Gang (Gary) He. The goal for the upcoming year is to work with other divisions within the Department of Pathology and with faculty members from other Departments within the College of Medicine to establish a lung cancer tumor bank, to develop molecular techniques to better characterize lung tumors, and to expand the education mission of the division with lectures to residents and fellows inside and outside of the department.
