The Division of Bone & Soft Tissue Pathology provides histopathological and ancillary testing of bone and soft tissue neoplasms procured by the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Surgical Oncology, and Neurosurgery which are expanding their efforts. The division, previously under the direction of Dr. Carl Morrison, currently consists of Drs. Paul Wakely, Gang He, and O. Hans Iwenofu. They will continue to develop a frozen tumor bank of bone and soft tissue tumors that will serve as a basis of future biomarker discovery and validation.
